Eltrix River

The Eltrix River flows slowly under the bridge, passing by Russia into the Arctic Ocean.

After the rain, the Buerjin city takes on a quiet and clean look.

What a beautiful city!

I always have a kind of special complex to bridge. The Cassandra bridge in the second world war and Waterloo Bridge as well as Luding Bridge in our country. Bridge is always concerned with war or love. Perhaps I watched a lot of movies concerned with bridges when I was a child, so I take photos of them at each stop!

It’s cloudy and seems to rain later. There is 160 km waiting for us and it’s almost 6:00 pm.

Here are another a few photos of the road. Because of the weather and traffic at that time, we take few photos, which is very regretful! All of us feel very cold and hungry, and arrive at Hemu village at 10:00 pm that evening.

The clouds begin to disperse until the noon, but the sun has not yet out. We have to leave some regrets in Hemu, and pull the friends who are reluctantly to leave on

If I remember correctly, it’s more than 40 kilometers from Hemu to Kanas. Keep in mind that safety comes first, the scenery comes second!

The direction of flow should be this: Enasi River - Enasi Lake - Buerjin River - the Eltrix River - the Altai Mountain/Russia – Ebi River-the Arctic Ocean 

We need to refuel our car since there is 160 kilometers waiting for us ahead. It’s more expensive than that of Urumqi.

From a different angle

It’s getting darker and the road is rougher, and the road is slippery because of the rain and snow. The car is so quiet at that time that I still feel a little frightened when I recall it now.

Although Hemu has been commercialized, it’s still beautiful! The visible routes: you can choose hiking or ride or horse as well as a motorcycle if you go to Kanas, it all depends on Physical condition.
